Your Induction

Congratulations on being elected as a member of Aberdeenshire Council.

On this page you will find all of the essential information about the induction programme itself. We have developed a programme of induction training as well as an on-going seminar programme. These are designed to support your important need-to-know training needs and your ongoing development.

It begins with two day-long sessions, for familiarisation and corporate induction. These will take you through all of the practicalities of a new term of office and provide information on the corporate processes that you need to understand. These sessions are being led by members of the senior team and will be interactive, hands-on and informative. They are followed by a rolling programme of seminars, as well as statutory training where required.
